After yesterday’s long dinner, I couldn’t even make it to bed before midnight. And somehow, as my brain loves to do, I didn’t feel abnormally sleepy, even though I was running on just four hours of sleep. Turns out it was past 1 AM by the time I finally fell asleep. One thing I have to admit, though: since starting this challenge, I sleep like a crocodile. The night passes by in a blink, quite literally.

I woke up around 6:30 in the morning and headed out with my boi, fully intending to go to the gym. Instead, we ended up sitting at a café, talking about life, and running late. So we skipped the gym and went for a long walk instead. Not the plan, but not terrible either.

The day at the office was… okay. But I wasn’t very productive. If I’m being honest, I haven’t been productive for the past few days. And I’m pretty sure it’s the accumulated lack of sleep catching up with me. Thinking about it now, it feels like I’m not really solving the sleep problem. Not yet, at least. I’m just waking up early. That’s progress, sure, but it’s not the ultimate goal. The real goal is to sleep well and sleep enough. And no matter how much I try to sugarcoat it, the chart is screaming failure on that front.

Still, despite all that realization, I found myself enjoying another late dinner with the bois tonight. It’s going to be past 11 PM by the time we get home, and I just found out I have a meeting after that. So… yeah. I’m not going to be sleeping enough tonight either.
