I did it! I actually slept for more than six hours. It feels like an unbelievable achievement! I have to admit, I’m a little proud of myself πŸ˜…

After a somewhat tiring day, we had an early dinner and headed home earlier than usual. It felt great to not be in a rush. I took a long, hot shower and made it to bed before midnight.

When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was that the lingering ache at the back of my head was gone for the first time in a while. I felt lighter, and it was amazing. I enjoyed our morning walk much more than usual. I found some roadside wildflowers and spent a few moments completely mesmerised by them. We stopped by our favorite café before starting work. It's easier to notice the beauty in small things when your head isn't aching, it seems 😬

I felt noticeably better throughout the day, and focusing came much more easily, too. It’s kind of silly to realize that it’s possible to feel this good and still put myself through that daily exhaustion. But mostly, I’m just happy that I was able to prove to myself that I can do better, as I promised myself yesterday.
